its been almost 10 months in my cooking career.
the subject of my blog might be deceiving to u, ok let me make it clear in the starting itself. you might be thinking what could be these lessons learned ...ummmm...like
how much water you should put in wheat while you make chapati's/breads...or
how to make round chapati or proper way to cook chapati...or
how much chilli..salt...spices etc etc you should put while you make vegetable...and blah blah blah
well chill out......the lessons which i have learned arent transient, but everlasting, nonfading which every one of us might have experienced but may have given a cursory thought that time
This is for all Mom's : during my good/bad cooking days, i have learned, how difficult it is for a mother to provide a versatility in everyday menu, if sometime there is less salt, or more chilli or absence of spices, how we mood off and forgets the hard work behind the preparation. should we really behave like that, even we are also not perfect in our job. Even we, infact everyone needs motivation in our job, like mother needs appreciation when the food is fantastic or lil sad :) sometimes lil critic (though in a good sense).
I learned, what you can say experienced when sometime my chapati/bread's takes some country map, when i have no choice but to make maggi, when i have to go to hawker centre and purchase vegetables and decide the menu for a week or when i burn or cut my hand.
I strongly believe everyone should get their due credit, should keep their cool and from time to time motivate ur peer to get out of sometimes so called monotonous life :)
love u Mom :)

My Craziest Fantasy ....
well, everyone have various kinds of fantasies. like what they want to be and what they don't want to be. simply its to be or not to be. similarly everyone has right to think , to broaden his horizon to let the inlet of thoughts flow. may be in this exercise, sometime you met one of your wildest/craziest fantasy.
today i was thinking of my days when i was a child, crazy for cricket, TV, then i went to school then college, then suddenly something stopped me, in these past pictures, i recalled one fantasy which i thought when i was may be 15-16yr old. i dont know how would this sound to you, but believe me i was pretty serious and dedicated that time and was really looking forward to convert this fantasy into reality. i dont know what is the best way to explain it. ok let me try:
it was vacations, may be summer vacations. As ususal watching TV, doing some holidays homework and planning for some cricket match in the evening. for the first time in my life, i sit and heard patiently one full lesson of Bhagavad Gita and i find my inclination towards these things. i started watching Asa ram bapu etc (thats the only name i remember) satsang with my GrandMother. and thought that these guys are doing such a good work, in a way earning points in god diary. suddenly A thought flowed into my mind that why shdn't i pussue this field not for lifetime though. you wont believe but i decided that to earn some points in god diary, i'll take this field for an year and i'll repeat same lines what these ppl say, though in a different manner. i'd started learning some lines these sant mahatama speak and attract audience. I thought i'd take some religious/bhakti books from my grandmom and will just repeatedly speak in my daily avtar and will get accolades from crowd :)
and after 1 year, i'd pursue my professional career. and continue it.
now when i think of that day, i just laugh on myself. wow, what a weird infact what a crazy fantasy anyone can think of.
now see where i am now. its been almost 2.5 years since i graduated and stepped into corporate life and continuing......
I am sure its not that crazy, but surely its one of my crazy moment in my life.
